CASPER, Wyo. - The University of Wyoming rodeo team is sending 13 student-athletes to compete at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR), set for June 15–21 at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper. These athletes have earned their place on college rodeo’s biggest stage, representing not only the Brown and Gold.

Here’s a look at the Cowboys and Cowgirls who will be vying for national titles:


Emme Norsworthy – Barrel Racing

Hometown: Thermopolis, Wyo.


Jacob Wang – Steer Wrestling

Hometown: Baker, Mont.


Jordyn McNamee – Breakaway Roping

Hometown: Buffalo, Wyo.


Colton Farrow – Bareback Riding

Hometown: Greybull, Wyo.


Josie Mousel – Goat Tying

Hometown: Colman, S.D.


Bodie Mattson – Team Roping – Header

Hometown: Sturgis, S.D.


Landry Haugen – Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying

Hometown: Sturgis, S.D.


Emmit Ross – Bull Riding

Hometown: Jackson, Wyo.


Rayne Grant – Barrel Racing

Hometown: Wheatland, Wyo.

Hometown: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada


Riata Day – Goat Tying

Hometown: Fleming, Colo.


Troupe Coors – Team Roping – Heeler

Hometown: Loveland, Colo.


Rhett Witt – Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping

Hometown: Valentine, Neb.


The action kicks off Sunday, June 15, and runs through championship night on Saturday, June 21. The first event starts on Sunday at 1 p.m. with “Bulls, Broncs & Breakaway” and an evening performance at 4 p.m. Tickets are available now at the Ford Wyoming Center box office and online.
