College Rodeo’s Biggest Stage Returns: CNFR Saddles Up in Casper June 15–21

CASPER, Wyo. - The College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) is making its much-anticipated return to the Ford Wyoming Center from June 15 - 21, once again turning Casper into the epicenter of collegiate rodeo. For over 25 years, CNFR has brought the nation’s best college cowboys and cowgirls to the Casper. When the dust settles, champions will be made.

Hosted by the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA), the CNFR showcases top athletes and elite livestock across a range of classic rodeo events - including saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, and goat tying.

Event Schedule & Highlights

Family Day – Bulls, Broncs & Breakaway: Sunday, June 15 - 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM *Featuring Mutton Bustin’ during intermission.
Slack Rounds: Monday, June 16 & Tuesday, June 17 - 7:00 AM Watch early-round competitors fight for a spot in the finals.
Evening Performances: Tuesday, June 17 – Saturday, June 21 - 7:00 PM Daily
Casper Night – Tuesday, June 17: All tickets just $12
Ribbons at the Rodeo - Thursday, June 19: A special Cancer Awareness Night.
Special Olympics Rodeo: Saturday, June 21 - 9:00 AM
CINCH Style Show: Saturday, June 21 - 11:30 AM at the Ramkota Hotel -Proceeds benefit the NIRA Foundation, which supports scholarships, injured athletes, and wellness initiatives.
Tradeshow: Opens nightly at 5:30 PM - Features vendors selling everything from cowboy hats to handcrafted leather goods.
New Location in 2025: The Mercantile at the WYO Sports Ranch: Open daily June 17 - 21, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, an excellent spot for gifts, gear, and rodeo merchandise.
