Laramie, Wyo. - Wyoming has one player slated to enter the transfer portal. Wyoming guard Damarion Dennis told @LeagueRDY, as announced on X (formerly Twitter), that he intends to enter the transfer portal.

Dennis, a 6-foot-1 sophomore from San Antonio, departs after a strong 2025-2026 campaign in Laramie, where he emerged as a critical part of Wyoming's basketball team.

After transferring in from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2025, Dennis established himself quickly. For the Pokes, he appeared in 33 games, making 20 starts, and averaged 11.2 points per game while shooting 52 percent from the field.

Dennis scored in double figures in 10 of his final 12 games and posted a season-high 21 points on the road against Colorado State in mid-February. He also had an 11-rebound performance against UNLV in the Mountain West Tournament.

At Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Dennis averaged 6.7 points per game.

With Dennis now entering the portal, Wyoming head coach Sundance Wicks will be on the hunt to replace him.

Last week, Sundance discussed the transfer portal window changes for 2026 with the media, noting the later dates helped keep teams together during tournament runs. The 2026 NCAA Men's transfer portal window is April 7th through the 21st.
