LARAMIE, Wyoming (11/5/24) – Buffalo kicker Tyler Bass had struggled for much of this season coming into Sunday’s game against Miami. The mishaps continued with a missed extra point and another attempt that went off the upright and in.

However, when Bass needed a kick—and a long one at that—he delivered. He nailed a 61-yard field goal with five seconds remaining to give the Bills a 30-27 victory, improving their record to 7-2.

The win preserved a strong game from quarterback Josh Allen, a former University of Wyoming standout. Allen went 25-for-39 for 235 yards, tallying three touchdowns and one interception. For the season, Allen boasts a 168-for-262 passing record for 2,001 yards, 17 touchdowns, and only two interceptions. He has also contributed on the ground, carrying it 47 times for 211 yards and three touchdowns. Buffalo will face Indianapolis in Week 10.

Below is a look at how other former Wyoming Cowboys performed in Week 9:

Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals

Wilson made his presence known in the Bengals' 41-24 win over Las Vegas, recording nine tackles and recovering two fumbles. For the season, Wilson has totaled 87 tackles—ranking third in the league—alongside one tackle for loss, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, four quarterback hits, and one pass defended. The 4-5 Bengals travel to Baltimore for Thursday Night Football in Week 10.

Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints

For the season, Granderson has amassed 34 tackles, 3.5 sacks, five tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and six quarterback hits. The Saints, who’ve dropped seven straight to fall to 2-7, host Atlanta in Week 10.

Crum did not participate in the Broncos’ 41-10 loss at Baltimore. This season, he has played 33 snaps, with 24 on special teams for the 5-4 Broncos. Denver travels to face the Chiefs in Week 10.
