Cowboys Set for Saturday Matinee with Cal State Fullerton

LARAMIE, Wyo. (NOV. 6, 2025) - The Wyoming Cowboys welcome the Cal State Fullerton Titans to the Arena-Auditorium for a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Both teams head into the contest with a 1-0 record, as it will be the ninth meeting all-time between the two schools.
Fans can watch, listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, as Keith Kelly will be on the call alongside Kevin McKinney.

About The Teams
Wyoming opened the season with a 99-75 victory over Northern State on Monday. The Pokes shot 55 percent from the field and held Northern State to 40 percent. Wyoming shot 38 percent from behind the arc, but did allow 12 threes defensively. The Pokes dominated the glass grabbing 48 with 18 coming on the offensive glass. UW scored 62 points in the paint in the opener.
The Titans set a program record 136 points in their 136-82 win over Caltech to open the season on Monday. Cal State Fullerton shot 58 percent from the field on the night and held Caltech to only 39 percent. The Titans also held a 53-35 advantage on the glass in the contest and recorded 37 assists with 11 turnovers.
About The Players
The Pokes were led in scoring by freshman Nasir “Naz” Meyer with 19 points. It was the most points by a freshman in a season opener since Marcus Williams added 20 points in the 2020-21 season opener. Wyoming had five players in double-figures for the first time since the Bellarmine game last season with Khaden Bennett adding 14 points and seven rebounds. Adam Harakow added 12 points with Damarion Dennis adding 11 points and Matija Belic adding 10 points. Abou Magassa added a team-high eight rebounds along with seven points.
Cal State Fullerton was led in scoring by Jaden Henderson with 25 points in the opener with five three-pointers. Kiwane Garris Jr. added 22 points along with a team-high eight rebounds. Byrce Cofield added seven assists in the contest and added 13 points.
About The Series
The two teams will meet for the ninth time on Saturday. Wyoming leads the all-time series 7-1 with the first meeting coming back in 1959. UW won 73-69 in Titan Gym a season ago on December 22.
