Breaking: University of Wyoming Tight End John Micahel Gyllenborg is a Kansas City Chief

University of Wyoming tight end John Michael Gyllenborg has been signed as an undrafted free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs.  


Gyllenborg's football journey has been remarkable. He only played 3.5 games in high school during his senior year. He came to Wyoming on scholarship and worked his way from the scout team to the starting lineup, and proved to be an important part of the Cowboys' offense.

Gyllenborg told us before the draft that he wanted to go to a team that wanted him, it appears that his wish came true. The Leawood, Kansas product was invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl, but accepted the invitation to the Panini Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Additionally, Gyllenborg was invited to the NFL Combine, where he earned a spot on the prestigious All-Combine team by NFL.com.
