We've been doing a lot of reflecting since Craig Bohl announced his retirement last week. One burning question...How many players have Wyoming Head Coach Craig Bohl moved to the NFL while serving as a college head coach? Bohl was the Head Coach at North Dakota State University (NDSU) from 2003-2013, then he came to Wyoming and coached from 2014 until the end of 2024. We went with any player on a roster during any year Bohl was the head coach who completed their career at each respective school. We didn't count transfers.

North Dakota State University

Number of Players: 16

Highest Draft Pick (Bohl Era):

Quarterback Carson Wentz, 2016 1st round, 2nd pick to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Most Successful NFL Player (Bohl Era):

This would be up for debate, but this title has to go to Carson Wentz.

University of Wyoming

Number of Players: 16 - Plus more who will get drafted in the next few years.

Highest Wyoming Draft Pick (Bohl Era):

Quarterback Josh Allen, 2018 1st round, 7th pick to the Buffalo Bills

Most Successful Wyoming NFL Player (Bohl Era):

This will also be up for debate, but this title will be a tie between Josh Allen and Logan Wilson.
